Yulia Yamineva is Associate Professor in international law, especially climate change law and policy, at the Centre for Climate, Energy and Environmental Law at University of Eastern Finland Law School. Her research addresses international climate law and governance, for instance mitigation of emissions of short-lived climate pollutants, international climate finance, and science-policy interface. This work has been published in Transnational Environmental Law, Environmental Science and Policy, and Nature Climate Change, among other journals. Prior to academia, she worked at the UNFCCC Secretariat and the International Institute for Sustainable Development. She holds a PhD in International Studies from the University of Cambridge.
