Dr. Harro van Asselt is a Professor of Climate Law and Policy at UEF Law School. He has published widely, including in top-ranked disciplinary journals (e.g. American Journal of International Law) and top- ranked general journals (Nature, Science, Nature Climate Change). He is also Editor of the Review of European, Comparative & International Environmental Law (RECIEL). He has further consulted governments and international organisations and agencies (e.g. DG Clima, OECD, Nordic Council of Ministers, Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs). He has more than 1520 years of research experience, specialising in climate change law and policy, interactions between climate and trade policy, the use of market-based instruments in climate policy, and the role of fossil fuel supply.
