The Common European Law & International Studies (CELIS) research group is a multidisciplinary group that brings together researchers from the fields of Public International Law and International Relations, as well as the History of Law and Institutions.
The main research lines include
- International Studies (with a focus on Law of the Sea, Environmental Law and Human Rights)
- Common European Law (historical foundations of Public International Law and European Legal Institutions)
- Law and New Technologies
- State Sovereignty and Human Rights (freedoms, fundamental rights).
CELIS counts with members from different Spanish universities, such as the University of Jaén, University of Sevilla and Loyola University.
