Mónica Truninger, is a sociologist and principal researcher at the Instituto de Ciências Sociais da Universidade de Lisboa (ICS-ULisboa). Her research interests are on sustainable food consumption and provisioning systems. She is the national coordinator of several international projects funded on various topics such as SSH tools for implementing the Green Deal topic on sustainable food; food freshness, food poverty and security, and consumers’ practices of food safety. She has published widely in national and international journals. She currently leads the research group SHIFT: Environment, Territory and Society at ICS-ULisboa.
