Prof. Dr. Marjan Peeters is a Professor of Environmental Policy and Law since April 2008. She has co-edited more than 7 books in the field of environmental and climate law, including the Research Handbook of EU environmental law.
Current core research attention goes to legal aspects of climate change, regulatory instruments for emission reduction, environmental procedural rights, and the way how the law deals with uncertain risks. The European Green Deal and various regulatory instruments of EU climate and environmental law are focal points in her current activities.
