Academic Director of Internationalization of Studies

He has a Ph.D. in Development Economics from the University of Salamanca. He has been visiting fellow at the Center for European Research in Microfinance (CERMi) of the Université de Mons (Belgium); the Center for Research in Social Enterprises and Microfinance (CERSEM) of the University of Agder (Norway); and the Sustainability Development and Climate Change Management Center of the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (Germany).
He is the representative of the University of Salamanca in the European School of Sustainability Science and Research (ESSSR) and in the European Alliance for Sustainability Research (EASR). Academic Director of Internationalization of Studies at the University of Salamanca.
He is a member of the Research Group on Economics and Public Policy (GREPP) and the Research Group on Interaction and e-Learning (GRIAL). His research focuses on global studies, development economics, financial inclusion, sustainability, public policy evaluation and educational innovation. He has published several scientific articles in international journals indexed in JCR indexes and book chapters in international prestigious publishers. He participates in several research projects funded in national and international calls. He has experience as a teacher, researcher, or consultant in 8 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean and 2 in North Africa.
